A compilation of some spooky stories for Halloween

Halloween is almost here & I thought I’d compile a few of my past posts about spooky beings and stories.

For beings, there is the one about giants (although for the most part, they aren’t dangerous).

More dangerous than the giants are the ‘wild beings’ the Eshon, who were said to be able to drive unfortunately people who encountered them permanently mad.

There were also many stories of the dreadful pitch dress ogresses, who often kidnapped young men to be their husbands, and children to be their temporary adoptees and possibly dinner.

And then there is on of my favorite spooky stories – the man who stepped on snail’s back.

Happy reading!
